Lawful authorisation exception

A person or body (police officer or other investigating authority) may be authorised to use a surveillance device under an Act, such as the following:

See Surveillance Devices Act 2016 (SA) s 4(2)(b),(d),(e),(h), s 5(4)(a),(c),(d),(f), s 7(2)(a), and s 8(2); Surveillance Devices Regulations 2017 (SA) regulations 10A and 11A.
