Who can claim?

The Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (Cth) covers employees of the Commonwealth whether full time, part time, temporary, casual, or probationary who are employed:

  • in a department, agency, or government business enterprise (for example, National Rail Corporation)
  • in the Australian Federal Police Force
  • in the Australian Defence Force.
